Eurotunnel Gas cylinder clarification

duncanl

Recommended Posts

It’s evident from past inquiries on motorhome forums about how Eurotunnel views user-refillable gas bottles (eg. Gaslow canisters) that the company categorises them as “Portable gas containers (cylinders/bottles, etc.)”, not as “Fixed gas containers (tanks, etc.)”

Consequently the stipulations relating to the latter type of gas container - as stated on the Eurotunnel link duncanl provided - that "Each container must be no more than 80% full” (and that the container must have a gauge or remote indicator to prove this) will not be applied to user-refillable bottles.

As Billggski has advised, all that will be checked with ‘Gaslow-type’ containers is that the bottles are turned off.
