John NG5
Does anybody know what the current western european prices are and is there a website to obtain such information. I know there are a lot of Hypermarket filling stations which do cheap fuel and was wondering if there are more than one ( Calais ) Tesco store and do they have a fuel station? By the way can you use your Tesco Club card in France ? Look forward to your replies. John 8-)

Randonneur
Here in France at the moment at the supermarkets you can pay anything from 0,985 Euros to 1,03 Euros at the moment. 0,985 euros was at Leclerc at Grand Tour on the N10 near Bordeaux yesterday. derek500
Here in Valencia in Spain I'm paying about 87c per litre (about 60p), although I have seen some garages charging up to 93c. Have a look at this website, diesel is 'Gasóleo A' http://www.cea-online.es/gasolineras.asp?

Wills Wagon
Tesco Citi Europe is only for booze and chocolates and yes you can use your Tesco card but not UK vouchers. Diesel at Auchan, Calais on 26 October was O.999 Euros per litre and had dropped 1 cent a litre in a week. Fuel at supermarkets away from Calais is usually a few cents cheaper. Be aware that as far as I know UK chip and pin cards still dont work in the 24 hour pumps which means you need to fill up in normal opening times which for filling stations is usually 9 -12 or 12.30 then closed a couple of hours for lunch and opening 14.30 - 17.00. Good luck.
