longtemps
The prices on their temporary pitches at the NEC this year are £35 for a pitch on paving and £30 for a pitch on the gravel area. Can anyone tell me if they are the same prices as last year. All other facilities ie; 6amp elec, shuttle bus etc seem to be the same.
StuartO
As I recall it was £30 per pitch last year, including electricity. No mention of differences for tarmac/gravel. They use a car park area which is prone to surface flooding, so you might be wading through puddles. The gravel areas might be better! The temporary power system consists of generators and cabling laid on the ground to distribution points but it's not too noisy even near the generators and it's reliable and safe. Some pitches are quite a distance from the toilet/bus top/food tent area. Disabled folk get to be on clean dry tarmac, close to the amenities so it's worth using your blue badge if you have one, even if you might also find it a bit noiser.
