derek pringle
Hi all, Wondering if anybody can help. I need to take out travel insurance very soon and have a couple of medical pre-conditions, anybody recommend a good reasonably priced ins. company. I will be travelling to France via Zebrugge for 31 days. I have looked on the net and all seems ok til the extra premiums are added. thanks in anticipation of any replies cheers derek
Derek Uzzell
The cost of the basic policy will depend on the person’s age and where he/she will be travelling, while the cost of additional loadings will depend on which pre-existing medical conditions the person has (or wishes to cover). Which? magazine lists these possibilities http://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/reviews-ns/travel-insurance/cover-for-those-with-medical-conditions/ As should be evident from the list there won’t be a budget-price 'one-size-fits-all’ policy, and it’s likely that you’ll need to contact the providers by phone to specify your requirements and explain your pre-existing medical conditions. maggyd
If you are a member of either of the clubs CC or CCC try them we got 6 weeks cover for around £270, no health questions asked on if you are undergoing treatment for cancer or awaiting hospital treatment.
