Paul Morgan
Should I buy an external "silver screen"?. I have a internal one at present but still find the windscreen soaking wet some mornings. As I like to use my van all the year would an external screen be better? Do they get very wet? Go rotten etc? paul

Mel B
I can highly recommend external silver screens, we've got some Taylormade ones and have been using them for 3 years now, still going strong and very easy to put on and take off. We got them from one of the shows but you can get them second hand, sometimes people advertise them inthe mags etc, or even on the Out and About 'Buy and Sell' bit (see list on left of screen) or even on eBay. We also have a set of internal screens for use in the summer as they help to keep the heat out of the van when in warmer climes. When we go away over the Christmas break we might actually take both sets to give extra insulation overnight in case the temperature goes low overnight.
