annpspeirs
My fluorescent light has blown so I pulled it out from fitting in the ceiling only to find that the connector in the actual lamp fitting came away with it! There are two bare wires sticking out from the ceiling and I'd like to know how I get the wiring back into the connector and where they go? Haven't replaced the actual light just in case I blow the £16 bulb! Many thanks, Ann
manxli
Hi A bit difficult to say without seeing it. Can you take a photo and upload? I assume the 12 volt input wires go to a small electronic inverter PCB first. Usually the flourescent tube needs a high voltage which this little board produces. At least that's how mine worked before I replaced the board and tube with an LED module. Anyhow, if we can see the pic, then we can possibly help.
