We should be praising her for taking in migrants, unless your on benefits why would we want them in this country as a bigger drain.

One way to stamp this out is only to take migrants or immigrants what ever you want to call them, is to only take them from refugee camps after a comprehensive background check. We haven't got a clue who wants to come into our country, some are murderers some are terrorists..

a comprehensive background check.

LOL who would you trust to do that *-) Given the number of wrong uns who have got through Criminal Records Background checks, and who knows how many decent people have failed them - These are people who come from this country, what chance is there of them finding anything out about villains coming from a war ravaged country like Syria?

Since Russia are good allies of Syria, why don't the refugees go there? There's plenty of room.

The refugees are trying to get away from Syria. Why would they want to go to its ally?

Anywhere rather than here please , though I fear many will come .... Merkel has a lot to answer for with her come here plea to unlimited amounts of mainly young men , the Beebs coverage to suit it's own agenda always focuses on the few families of course

Cameron should have stuck to his guns and said no but now we'll end up with the dependants of those who come I suppose and once in Germany nothing to stop others coming ... Ah well could be worse

Because it's their ally and it's classed as a safe country.......and they are trying to help Syria (In their own way, there's always a price ) Then when it's all sorted they can return to their homes and live happily ever after. 8-) :-)

Germans can accept cheap labour immigrants because they have got plenty of jobs and housing for them.

Most countries seem to have their own idiocy of choice, and ours is that high house prices are a good thing. The theory was that flooding the economy with cheap money would encourage investment in productive industry. By putting planning decisions in the hands of local nimbys to restrict housing supply, whilst stoking up demand with taxpayers money to force up prices, we have created the situation where unproductive property speculation is seen as a better investment than productive industry. Who wants to risk investing in a factory full of machines whilst buying up a row of existing buy to let houses is seen as a safer investment?

Now we have a record debt and deficit, whilst the Germans post another record surplus. But at least we can look at our house prices to see what a strong economic recovery we have *-)

Look on the bright side Peter ;-) ..........Potentially zero interest rates on the horizon :D ..........

Thats what the Government wants because they have racked up so much debt.

But as long as they continue to increase debt, and lose credit rating, there will come a point when they have to raise rates. Yields on British Government Bonds - the price they have to pay to borrow on international markets, is already about 3 times that of Germany to reflect Britain's lower credit rating.

But as long as house prices keep rising what can go wrong *-)

If you are not intoxicated by the rising house prices you can see a lot has gone wrong already.

It's a moot point but just imagine all the arm waving, kicking and screaming and told you so there'd be now if Gideon and the nasties hadn't got back in and this was happening on Balls up's watch.
