JohnSue1664232222
Who's been through there recently ? We're planning on a wine run, hopefully this week, in and out in the one day so would appreciate any current advice re the migrant situation. Thanks. John Went over by Tunnel, Weds and returned Thursday - no problems & no migrants to be seen, but one was electrocuted on Friday trying to get on a freight train roof so there were 4 hr delays. AFAIK back to normal again now. Best check Eurotunnel twitter feeds (so I'm told!)

stantheman
No problem on the way out (by ferry) on 1st Sept. Also no prob on the way back last week, 17th Sep. Came past the new fences, saw the 'jungle' on the other side. Very upsetting. `
Sydney1
Went over on foot as part of a cycle event last Sunday and no trouble at all both ways. Cycled out through the rough parts of Calais and to Sangatte and although saw signs of them, I did not feel threatened at any time. I think the general situation is fairly fluid though and could change at any time. They are bound to get more desperate the nearer we get to the winter months. JohnSue1664232222
Many thanks to all of you. I was fairly sure things had calmed down but it's great to have actual confirmation. John ;-)
Archiesgrandad
We travelled Folkstone to Calais on Tuesday morning, and we were kept on the train for about 60 mins, due to immigration problems in Calais, before we went through. They kept us informed, and there were no other problems. AGD
