bobbyg
Can someone point me in the direction of the car radio roof aerial, been in / under the dash but not shore of the final end place of the aerial rod, if fitted. The wire run's off to the right hand side of the dash, is it under the roof lining? As the original roof is now a storage area? We have very poor radio signals from the head set and the unit keeps re-tuning >:-( thanks in advance
markh1
I think you'll find its in the nearside door mirror, the best way to improve the radio reception is to fit a proper antenna, you can drill the nearside front wing and fit this type http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-accessories/exterior-styling/autoleads-side-mount-car-aerial,
bobbyg
Cheers for the reply, was trying not to fit an external aerial, but if that's the only way of getting a better signal then (>) (!) , Thanks Again.
markh1
No problem, I had exactly the same problem as you, since fitting the aerial and routing the lead back through the bulkhead to the radio I've had fantastic reception countrywide
