Hymer522 Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 I have a Hymer 522, 2007 with a Thetford fridge. The fridge works ok on mains and battery but a problem has recently started with the gas. When I try and have the fridge on gas, the flame lights but the igniter is still running, and after about 10 - 15 seconds the process shuts down showing a fault code of 09 (gas lockout because flame fails to ignite). rolandrat Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 I'm assuming your gas cooker, waterboiler and heater are working normally so your problem could be the flame control unit which is a sealed grey plastic box of electronics with eight external needle connectors. It is very easy to access from the outside grill but I wouldn't bother unless you have obtained a replacement. It might be best to take it to an authorised service centre for appraisal and no doubt they will carry spare parts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
