Motorhomeman
I have today remade the electrics on my Swift 2009 Bessacarr habitation door, this is a permanent repair NOT a bodge, I now have the electrics coming out of the door higher up on a coiled lead not as it was coming out of the bottom corner but it still goes into the motorhome in the same place. NO MORE BROKEN WIRES. Not a new door as some would have you purchase If I can be of any help to you just ask as I know that there are many vans with the same problem and people are searching the internet for answer LOOK NO MORE THE ANSWER IS HERE. Silver Roamers
I have the same problem on a 2010 Swift Sundance 590LP. You mentioned a coiled lead, where can you get these and what type. Also how far up the door did you come out and on side or rear. How much of a problem getting the door panel off to access the cable in the door. Any guidance would be helpful. Derek Uzzell
You could try e-mailing Motorhomeman about this using the address provided wygray@tiscali.co.uk Otherwise, twin-core retractable coiled cable is available on line. For example http://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/twin-core-retractable-coiled-cable-2-x-1mm2.html?gclid=CIDJ06_9g8kCFesBwwodPrQM-A
