Mike P
Whilst trying to avoid newly laid concrete on my drive I had an encounter with a gatepost hinge which punched a hole in the n/s wheel arch spat. This is self coloured GRP the same grey as the skirt. I'm fairly handy with GRP having built & repaired several boats and would prefer to do a grp repair rather than a filler/paint repair which would involve spraying the whole skirt. I seem to recollect that a few years ago someone obtained the colour code for this grey gel coat (my van is 2008 plate). Can anyone help? I've looked at the Scott Bader range and there are three greys that might be compatible. I've tried Autotrail technical but they only gave me details of mixing paint to match. Any guidance would be much appreciated Mike P
Derek Uzzell
There’s this http://forums.motorhomefacts.com/185-bodywork-trim/113207-paint-colour-match-autotrail-grey-skirt.html but I’m not sure if it answers your question about coloured gel-coat. gocro
It is possible to colour white gel coat repair paste with artist acrylic paint if you are prepared to try it.
