motorhomeninja
We have taken delivery of a Burstner Aviano i654, LHD, 12 plate from Germany, via Bundesvan. It has a remote key fob, but no central locking on the drivers door. It does make the indicators flash when pressed. My question is does it do anything to the vehicle? Thanks, Graham
Brian Kirby
On the basis that our Exsis is similar, no. All it does is take up room in one's pocket! What is needed is a second "plain vanilla" key, but they are expensive (though much less so than the remote variety!) to obtain via Fiat dealers. Can be obtained from third party locksmiths, but have to be matched to the immobiliser, which ideally requires taking van to locksmith to ensure it works as it should. monique.hubrechtsgm
hi very interesting i have the same on my aviano impulse i7288g lhd.delivered may 2015 new. and have ordered with remote locking. complained with the dealer the said will check when next maintenance schedule is planned. another surprising thing was that the aviano was supplied with alde heating system instead of air free of charge .it looks like buying a box of chocolates-burstner you never sure which one you get if you buy a new car the vin will tell you every detail not a motor home vin. have a nice even ing and for every thing there is a solution keep me informed i have connections. motorhomeninja
Thanks Brian, I presumed that was the case, we have another non fob key which I use, couldn't risk only having one key! Graham
