In southern Portugal you are a long way from the Astra 2 footprint which transmits the typical BBC and ITV stuff. Astra 2 can only be received, generally, to a point halfway down France. In southern Portugal you could aim your dish at Astra 1 or Hotbird and receive programmes in English but it would only be news and a limited number of English speaking programmes. Mike88 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 If "portable aerial" means a satellite dish then yes but only if you have a paid subscription for Sky premium channels such as Movies and Sport.
