Tea Cup
Lidl at the moment have an excellently specced and very reasonably priced smart battery charger/jump start unit, 6 or 12v, 2 amps slow, 12 amps fast charge, 75 amp Jump start. Looks very well made, and correctly identifies a deep cycle leisure battery as such, charges on fast very quickly. There are about 9 in our local store, so you could be lucky in yours. £34.
hallii
The 12 amp charge will be at 6v so only 6 amp at 12v. 75 amp for starting won't go far, a 2.0 ltr diesel might take 300 - 500 amps in cold winter conditions. It's a good buy because it's a smart charger and will keep your batteries topped up, to charge up a low battery you will need more than 6 amp, 15 - 20 amp is about right. Tea Cup
The spec says it is 12amps at 12v, and it certainly performs like it.
hallii
I could be wrong! Unusual :-D In that case 12 amp at 12v is quite good. I might even buy one if they have any left. H
