ROND
From Bayonne head for Vitoria Gasteiz, Burgos, Palencia, Salamanca, Caceres, Seville, Castro marim in Portugal. All motorway with a couple of tolled sections getting over the border then best to stay on the motorway and pay the toll about 12 euros to Vitoria and then you can either pay the 12 euros just after Vitoria or come off and avoid it but we usually stay on to avoid the heavies. It is a good route with free aires at al those places named. RD
