tonyg3nwl
Hi folks, having just booked ferry etc for later in the year, as we hope to go down to Agde area again, I just wonder how they are getting on with the repairs to the A75 a Lodeve. Has anyone travelled that way recently.. is it likely to be functional by may, or should we plan to avoid that part. any suggestions tonyg3nwl
AlanS
It was supposed to be fully re-opened by the end of November latest, which considering the damage was pretty good progress. Alan.
Derek Uzzell
Single-lane north and south traffic-flow was re-established on the A75 near Lodeve in mid-October 2015. A 20 November 2015 article in a local French newspaper stated that it had been anticipated repairs would have been fully completed that day, but a slight delay meant that completion would occur by 27 November at the latest. Near-real-time information about traffic conditions on French autoroutes can be obtained on-line. Currently traffic on the whole of the A75 is (apparently) flowing normally and there is nothing to suggest that the road-repairs near Lodeve overran the 27 November 2015 target date. gocro
Even when the repairs were on-going the delay was minimal as most HGVs were diverted, we travelled both south and north during October .
