Hi all door hinges

Most interior doors have non adjustable hinges but as most are motoriously flimsy the screws often work loose which affects gaps and closure.

Sometimes longer or fatter screws will help but be aware of going right through the frame and leaving very sharp ends protruding if using longer screws.

You can sometimes fit a longer screw and then remove it and grind off the tip before replacing it if it protrudes.

You can sometimes recess or pack out a hinge to adjust gaps and improve door closing but that too runs the risk of making the door fit badly elsewhere.

Many interior cupboard doors have domestic kitchen type sprung hinges and these are often adjustable but it can be very difficult to get a decent fit and true alignment and it might takes a lot of fiddling about on a small door where the hinges are not easy to access.
