gullrock
I have slightly damaged the graphic on the door of my Auto-trail Imala and need to replace it. I have now got an original replacement but would like some advice if possible on - a) How do I remove the old one and prepare the new one. b) How to I stick the new one? I once had to fix vinyl to a shop window and it was done by making the surface wet with soapy water, removing the vinyl backing and then the use of a squeezy sponge to get the air and water out. Is this the was to do these too? Some advice would be great thank you
Derek Uzzell
Welcome to the Out&AboutLive forums. The following link is to a GOOGLE-search using “removing decals from a motorhome” as the search-term: https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=removing+decals+from+motorhome and this link is to an earlier forum inquiry about fitting new decals http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/How-easy-to-fit-Decals-/28304/ (if there’s a company local to you that specialises in vehicle signs, you might consider asking them for advice, or even ask them to quote for removing your old decal and replacing it with the new one.)
