mickwhitney Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 We were stopped last year by the Gendarmes and made to drive the car for the rest of our journey. Although we had the relevant Certificates to show that everything complied to European regulations as far as the Gendarmes were concerned these were only directives. They were there to implement French law and that is what they were doing. We are in two minds as to whether we will tow in France this year.
