lamby55 Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I have 3 weeks spare and a beautiful Auto Trail Apache on the drive, so have decided to go south. the vague plan is the ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge and then either down the Atlantic coast or wonder through France missing Paris on the east side. Probably stay on Aires most of the time whilst travelling and will then need sites on the Med coast before starting back. Any recommendations for routes and sites most welcome. gocro Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 Last couple of years we have traveled down France in a leisurely fashion ( 5 to 7 days) and stopped at La Massia in Blanes a real Spanish town with shops and bars and a resort attached ie. not a huge resort with a tiny bit of Spain left up a back stree . Blanes has a main line station with Girona 50 mins away and Barcelona 1 hour 20 mins. We are prejudiced though as we are giving up the van and have bought an apartment there.
