Flexi panels?

Hi, As anyone had any experience fitting/using semi flex solar panels? Is there much difference between these and standard panels regarding performance and durability? A reputable company I know of are doing a particularly good deal, on a size which I need, which makes the price comparable to the standard type, a good point also, they are lighter.

Would you use the usual adhesive ie Sikaflex or similar to fix these down and if so, would that be just round the edges and perhaps a dollop or two in the middle?
