On the other hand it is really quite hilly on the coast road.

Last June we needed our Sachs MadAss motorbike (lives in garage under fixed bed) and would not have been able to easily get into Dubrovnik without it. We  didn't use our electric bikes for exploring so much in Croatia only for getting bread and going to local restaurants so we could safely have a glass of wine or two.

Contrary to Brian's experience we had little or no wind!

It's pot luck I guess?
