Keithl Posted February 11, 2016 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Hi Capstan, You will have to look at the VIN plate on your MH to find out. It will either be located on the side of the drivers seat box or possibly under the bonnet on the slam panel. It will state 4 weights as follow: 1. Vehicle Max Weight (possibly called GVW, MTPLM or similar) 2. Maximum Train Weight (possibly called GTW) this is the MAx weight of the Vehicle PLUS any trailer 3. Max Front Axle Weight 4. Max Rear Axle Weight To obtain your MAX trailer weight you subtract weight 1 from weight 2 BUT you must also read your owners manuals for any stipulations on towing weights. You may also find you can tow more weight by reducing the weight of the towing vehicle, again the handbook will explain if this is possible.
