Jonboymentalhealth
I had flat battery few weeks ago took battery out and home to charge and upon restarting had engine management light on. Checked code today and it is p0603 which is to do with power management, it is also starting intermittently, sometimes requiring me to push down on live connection and I sometimes hear a spark. Any ideas how to ensure a better connection as I think this is the problem.
Derek Uzzell
If you are needing to push down on the connector fitted to your starter-battery’s live terminal to encourage the vehicle to start, you may need to replace that connector. Terminal connectors come in a variety of designs, so you’d need to pick the appropriate sort. http://tinyurl.com/hnlnge3 But before going down that route you should first make sure that the battery terminals and the present connectors are absolutely clean, and that the connection between connector and terminal is firm with no suspicion of ‘looseness’. Jonboymentalhealth
The connector was very loose so after a quick trip to halfords have bought what I think will work but can't attach now as too dark, is there any way of locking passenger door without power?
