henrypartridge Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Went to the Roadpro stand at the NEC to see the new Dutch bike racks hoping for an equivalent to the Busbiker. They had one, £1800 fitted, but I was very disappointed at the quality. The structural part was heavy duty finished in black paint but the fastenings, star screws etc were, IMHO very poor. The rack part was light aluminium, again not well finished, open ends to the tubes. I spoke to Alko who didn't have their equivalent, the Sawika Agito 80, on display. They did have bigger ones there and the quality was undoubtedly excellent. However, price fitted was £2450!!!! I asked for a show deal, no chance. She did suggest trying a service centre who could obtain one wholesale and see what that would be with fitting. If that's no good I might be off to Holland for a Busbiker!
