mabel mondial Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 A friend who does not have a handbook for her 2003 Autocruise Starquest, would like to know the following about her van... Correct tyre pressures Weights,Payload etc Petrol tank capacity Dimensions, L,W,H Anyone out there have the same van? Must get her to join the forum, doesn't know what she is missing!
Derek Uzzell Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Not immediately answerable I’m afraid, as Autocruise were apparently marketing two different “Starquest” models in 2003 - a shortish version http://www.sussexcaravancentre.co.uk/used-motorhome-autocruise-starquest-includes-plenty-extras-1501 and a longer “Starquest EL” http://www.nickwhalemotorhomes.co.uk/autocruise-starquest-el-733 So the first thing to establish is which version your friend has. It looks like the fuel-tank’s capacity would have been 80 litres and the maximum authorised weights (overall weight, ‘train’ weight, and front and rear axle-weights) will be on your friend’s motorhome’s VIN data-plate. VIN-plate examples here: http://www.towbarexpress.co.uk/maximum-towing-weight
rupert123 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 As Derek states likely tank capacity 80 ltrs and weights under the bonnet on a plate. As for size I would have thought a simple tape measure would work that out. Tyres more of a problem on motorhomes, depends on the axle weights when loaded and opinions differ. My first move would be an email or phone call to the tyre makers, give them the axle weights and they may come up with an answer. Any pressure given in handbooks is likely to be for the base vehicle and very high.
myshell Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Both Starquest & Starquest EL dimensions here. As I said to you when I sent you an e-mail if you let me know what specific info you need I will scan them and e-mail them to you but, I am not prepared to scan & send all 98 pages. Regards Phil Sorry ! files did not attach due to 100kb limit, will re scan and try sending again.
