flicka
Hi Nobby & welcome to the forum. Not got specific location for the water pump on your Freetec. But generally there are 2 tpyes of pump available - standard (what you think of as a pump( or submersible. For a "standard" pump check the water supply pipe from the tank & trace until the pump is located - mostly in close proximity to the tank. A "submersible" is located within the water tank & can usually be identified by cables found on the top of the tank.

Derek Uzzell
Welcome to the Out&AboutLive forums, Eddie. I’m not familiar with the FreeTEC 681 Ti model, though there are quite a few on-line adverts for the 618 Ti (example here) http://www.fsdonline.de/1602039 As flicka says, there are generally two types of pump, with the submersible type being within the fresh-water tank (and normally pretty quiet when running) and the pressure-sensitive diaphragm type that is outside the fresh-water tank (and normally fairly noisy when running). This review of a FreeTEC 718 Ti http://www.practicalmotorhome.com/reviews/motorhome/30101-tec-freetec-718-ti mentions that “...the water pump is quite noisy...”, which suggests that the pump fitted to that vehicle was the pressure-sensitive diaphragm type. Look in the fresh-water tank first. If the pump’s not there do as Flicka advises and follow the tank’s water outlet-hose.
