keithwray
Has anyone managed this without a complete dismantle of the bathroom? On the subject of bathroom dismantling, does anyone have any tips here? I've now had this van 12 years from new and we plan to keep it for another 12 at least. Any tips would be welcome. Robbo
Can't really help with your specific model. I had a 2002 Hymer 544 and I'm sure you could get to the underside of the tap from the cupboard below the sink. In these situations, it helps if you are a contortionist or know a man who is !!! habilis-abilis
If it is the type of tap that has a cartridge inside then change that . I put up with a sticky tap for ages then made the effort to change it. Sourcing the right cartridge was hardest part but worth the effort.
Robbo
Perhaps the OP can explain why he wants to replace the whole tap ? If it's leaking or not operating properly, you can just replace the cartridge (as mentioned above). This can be done from the top side. If the spout is leaking (quite a common problem, especially if not drained down properly over winter) these can be purchased separately. They just push on. Regards, Keith Why don't you go onto the Hymer Club International website, they have a forum. Loads of advice and tips. If you're not a member it's £15/yr, well worth it in my view.
