The EHU cable ( is that a TLA- a 3 letter acronym) we use here is the same as used in Britian. My cable is 10mtrs long and when connected I loop the excess cable in circles of about a mtr dia and tie it to the bike rack on the rear or to the rear view mirror arm depending on where the power point is located. This achieves two objectives, it keeps the cable tidy and keeps it soft as it is in the sun. I have never experienced a "hot" cable however when the MH supplying dealer changed the UK plug for an AU plug the connection on the Neutral wire was not correctly secured and the plug became very hot. A new 3 pin plug solved the problem with no obvious heat in cable or plug even with the aircon operating for extended periods.cheers,
