John NG5 Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Hi Phantom, I know it is less convenient, but if you intend spending a lot of your hard earned cash, you should consider taking a weekend trip to the UK mainland. Study MMM and have an idea of what MH best suits your purpose and find a few dealerships to visit. There are a lot of good ones in Scotland and the north of England. I have been on the same quest and found that you can get a better deal over there than what you will get at home. I travelled around on a planned route and stayed in travel lodges booked in advance, which was very reasonable.
