samnkeez Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Can anyone suggest any festivals ( music or otherwise) that are worth attending in Europe. I am looking for the smaller more quirky festivals that maybe particular to a town or city. I went to a hippy festival last year in Holland and attending a couple of local music and cider festivals in Dorset soon, so something along those lines. I dont mind what country they are in. ron. Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 The many wine festivals along the length of the Mosel in Germany must be high on the list. You could visit a different one every few days during June - October. They often have a local theme as well as various types of music being played by rotating bands. In rotation that is! The one held at Cochem on the last weekend in August is a must with a firework display on the river a real treat. Can't wait.
