laimeduck
Well I'm sorry but £300 seems about the right price to me? I paid £278 in 2011 for my 2.8JTD 2004 Benimar - to a small garage who I trust implicitly to give me the right price. I have also just paid £234 for a cambelt on my Focus 1.9 TDCI
PJay
We paid £450.00 in 2013 for replacement clutch on 2.3 ducato So I would say that price is cheap PJay

Cliffy
I have just had the cam belt, tensioners, water pump and coolant replaced on my 2 Ltr Ducato at a cost of £385.00 While they were doing the job they noticed that the brake pads were dangerously disintegrating, it would be sensible to ask the garage who does the job for you to check the condition of your pads or check yourself at least annually. BrianBW
Have to agree with most comments. Its the time involved, and the labour costs. We all expect a reasonable wage these days so you are paying that.
