Hi, Has any of you well traveled people any advice about parking suitable for motorhomes in the Eastern French cities of Colmar and Mulhouse as we would like to visit them on our next excursion to France. I would also be grateful for advice on crossing into Switzerland..best crossing point...things to be aware of...places of interest near border etc. Look forward to your help. Many thanks

Yes good Aires and campsites at both those. If you have any interest in motor vehicles the Bugatti Museum at Mulhouse is outstanding. They allow a lot of hands on unlike UK car museums, son sat in a very early Bugatti formula one car (worth million Euro) was shown how to start an early saloon on a starting handle and went in a car roll over simulater (using a real car). My son and I spent a whole day in there, much to the disgust of our wives!! Certainly more entertaining than Shopping.

A pedantic point, but the museum in Mulhouse is called, "Cité de l'Automobile National Museum" and not the Bugatti museum (although they have many examples of Bugattis there)

The Aire that we used when visiting was the one in the car park at the Eco Musee d'Alsace (also in Mulhouse) for €6 including water and dumping.
