Airstream
Hi, First step is to have your M/H weight verified at a weighbridge this should be at your normal maximum touring capacity inc food, pets, passengers, cloths, bikes, etc This will enable you to check where you are with actual axle loadings as its no use increasing the max weight if your rear axle is already at or near its maximum SVTECH will advise once they have all the facts and may agree to uprate the rear axle loading if required (this may need new tyres/air bags) Good Luck Ray
PJay
We have just increased our payload, by taking off the roof aircon !! Surprising how heavy it was! (100kilos) They don't tell you about weight when you ask for things to be added when you buy motorhome, and we were green then, having had sail boats before, where you can really stack them . Many a trip across the pond, we bought back 12 boxes of wine ie 72 bottles of the stuff.!! Think we still may have some left . You live and learn PJay
