Malo les Bains aire

Has anyone stopped at this aire, and how long would it take to get to the ferry at Dunkirk? We have to catch an early morning ferry on Tuesday.

Fuel seems ok now in supermarkets at least, just travelled up from near Blois in the Loire valley and very heavy flooding there, although main roads open.

Information on the aire at Malo les Bains is here

Apparenty there are no ‘services’ there and the comment of 27/07/2015 makes interesting reading. An alternative stopping place would be at the nearby campsite

The ferry-port details are here

I can’t tell you how long the aire-to-port trip would take, but it seems (on paper) a simple matter of going south from the aire to the D601 (Route de Furnes) and then following that road westwards until you reach the port.

If you wanted to overnight closer to the ferry port, there seem to be several options in the Gravelines area
