Derek Uzzell
A mere bruising compared to this one http://tinyurl.com/j83mz6n (I notice that in both incidents the GPS (sat nav) is somehow considered to be at fault!)
StuartO
Isn't there a clause in the cover you get with high rental vehicles that they don't cover damage to the roof area? I think I've seen that sort of provision with the hire of high commercial vehicles. And maybe a contractual provision that you are responsible for loss of rental income while the vehicle is off the road being repaired or replaced? I fear the Welshman who admits to seeing the funny side of his satnav assisted collision might get a bit of a shock when he returns the vehicle and discovers the extent of his liability.
