henrypartridge Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I bought my Globecar Campscout at SMC so when I later wanted some stuff doing to the van I thought I'd get a quote from them as well as plenty of others. I was surprised with how much more reasonable they were so I've had these additions Gaslow system BBQ gas point Solar panel 150W Extra power socket Fiamma awning Double USB socket for charging phones etc when off grid. And the biggy, an Alko Sawiko Agitop bike rack. This has been a bit of a nightmare. The first time I went Alko hadn't told them it needed a fitting kit. The second time they sent the kit but with the wrong brackets. Third time lucky, today we have it! And SMC sorted me out for abortive trips, overnight camping etc. The technician, Jeff, has been endlessly patient and the standard of the work is first class. It's nice in this day and age to be able to give unconditional praise. I will video the rack and put it on YouTube as I believe mine us the first in the country.
