Keithl Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Hi all, I received a message from friends today to say they had the spare wheel stolen from under their VW T25 PVC while it was parked on their front drive. Muswell Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 It happened to my T4 12 years ago and the locking wheel nut didn't stop them. The VW design is hopeless because the release mechanism is external. The dealer said it was a major problem and W had been told but ignored it. I saw that nothing had changed when the T5 came out. I carried my spare inside and only put it under when we needed the internal space, and I added a cable lock as well.
