Guest TC01
I’ve owned two MH’s, the first one I bought second hand, the second one I bought new, (both so called budget vehicles) I’ve had absolutely no problems or niggles with either apart from one failed gas regulator. After reading and hearing so many stories about the problems that people have had with there MH’s, I’m wondering if I’m the only person in the UK to of had this experience, prey tell. Having written this, the words sod and law come to mind.
Lizzy
Lucky you! Maybe it's because it is a fast growing leisure industry and manufacturers are rushing 'vans onto the market thinking that little niggles can be sorted by keen DIYers? I for one expect a new 'van to be perfect - we don't have time to fiddle and f..t about with fixing things for which we've paid for to be fixed already: which is why Hubby and I are waiting a couple of years for the rush to die down. Price will bottom out too ..........

Guest Frank Wilkinson
I took delivery of a new Lunar Telstar just over a week ago. I've driven it about 300 miles so far and checked out every single function (I think!) and it appears to be perfect. The only minor niggle is that the radio aerial is tucked away in the roof of the cab somewhere and reception isn't brilliant. I'd be interested to hear from any Telstar owners with the GT pack fitted to find out their experience.I have a theory that the digibox of the GT pack may be a contributory factor to the poor reception. Ultimately I may take it to a car radio specialist and have a proper external aerial fitted.

Guest peter
No problems with my Rapido 710f bought S/H. Appart from the stupid things the previous owner did, like lining all the wood in the back of the lockers with polystyrene and painting the Vinyl flooring blue. Luckily he only used tile cement so it was easy to remove with a very smooth scraper and have put carpet tiles on floor. What a prat, nobody on here I hope?. howie
Not me Peter, i,m always looking at trade in prices and "home improvements" are a sure way of losing money. Might have been my brother in law though, as he has completley altered the inside of his Amethyst three times now, and I hope i,m not around when the salesmen check it over. Howard. howie
No Cyrils in our family Peter, but there is another side to this tale. My brother in law works away during the week as a crane driver and uses his m/h as on site accomodation. He gets a weekly allowance of £120 a week for digs so it certainly pays its way. To my knowledge he has never used it in the way it was intended, and i,m wondering if there are any others out there who use theirs other than for holidays etc. Howard.
