Any ideas for a small CL Site on the coast near to Alnwick??

Hi Everyone.

I am taking my Ma to Alnwick Gardens this Saturday but travelling up from Friday morning so will be in that area for dinner time.

Was thinking, a small campsite where we can have a coastal walk maybe pub grub and be able to drive into Alnwick on the Saturday morning.

Don't want one of your all singing all dancing sites, just somewhere with shower and toilet facilities and electric.

Could even stay at Alnwick rugby club on the Saturday night?

Any help much appreciated, :-)

There is often a C&CC temp hol site at the rugby club if you are a member, walkable to town and you have use of the toilets and showers but no hook-up.
