Herdwick Willy
Can any one tell me what replaced the Mezan, We liked the size and back door entry, but they seem to have stopped production on 2006. Many thanks.Herdwick willy was the shepherd now retired.
Brock
Have a look at the vans produced by Nu Venture Motorhomes and Romahome. Nothing replaced the Mezan but Nu Venture and Romahome offer something similar.

Rayjsj
The Nu-Venture Rio, with the rear door would be a good replacement for the discontinued A/S Mezan, and it has less rear overhang, which could be a problem on the Mezan ? You had/have one,so you should know. Nu- venture also do a side door version, but that does not seem to have the versatility of the rear door versions. At one time there were several makers of rear door motorhomes, Romahome, Autocruise, Nu-Venture,the excellent Bentley Cerise, even Elddis used to do one, havent seen any new Romahome vans in the dealers lately ? Are they still in production ? Just answering my own question, seems Yes, the R20 is almost the same as the Mezan, and you can still get a new one from Freeborn motorhomes. Herdwick Willy
Well thats that, having viewd the new NuVenture Rio, we ended up travelling 100 miles to buy a 2003 Auto sleeper Pollensa.(Demelza).1400 on the lock, real mileage.Having bought the same model new in 2002, we felt at home.In this is motor home no 11 having given up three times before and then returned to it six months later, its just possible we are trapped.lol

Mike B.
1400 miles on a 13 year old van sounds ever so low mileage-are you sure it's correct? And/or it's not an ex flood victim? Mike
Brock
Good luck with the new van. I visualise you wild camping on the moors in wet and windy conditions as befits a herdwick shepherd.
