Ninian
Hi, I've discovered a couple of scratches on my Polyvision plastic windows. Is it possible to try and polish them out. Thanks.

Wirralian
Hi Ninian I asked this same question several years ago and the advice I got was to use Brasso. Its got abrasive qualities but used gently, it works a treat. I had to use it on fairly deep scratches. John L
fjmike
Definitely not Brass and the Fenwick stuff is OK for cleaning but you will struggle to remove scratches with it. These windows have a coating on them that if polished through will result in a patchy appearance. The best product is Mequiars PlastX, if the scratches can be felt with your thumb nail they may not polish out. It's probably bet to live with scratches as you will probably aquire more over time. Colin Leake
What ever you do don't try and use a polishing wheel on a drill. You will melt the surface of the plastic. We don't need to worry now as all the windows on our AutoSleeper PVC are glass!
