Campsites in Languedoc-Roussillon

In September we will go on hols for a month. Usually we use Aires, but this time, due to a failing hip joint (not mine) we need to use campsites. We have chosen Languedoc-Roussillon and whilst it's nice to be by the sea it's not essential, we also like quiet sites without all the "razamataz". Municipals are about right.

We have lost touch a bit with campsites, we have purchased the ACSI book for several years but not used it, does anyone have any suggestions for suitable campsites please?

A nearby bike track would be a bonus, believe it or not, the one who has the hip can ride her electric bike once I have her "in the saddle".

Love that region of France.

Have not stayed lately, but have used Ma Prairie, though it has a bit of the all singing/dancing about it, big enough to be away from all that. Easy access to beach, and flat, so easy cycling (Not cyclists ourselves)

Several sites in acsi, in the arare . Have also stayed in others , but one (can't remember the name) you had to get around a boat yard to reach the town, that's why we find MA Prairie easier, and will be even better with bikes Should be quieter in September, as schools will be back

One of our favourite places in France and so diverse covering coast, mountains. We have stayed twice at Camping La Nautique, near Narbonne, it is number 2382 in 2016 ACSI book. It is a large site but very friendly with all pitches having there own toilets, showers, water etc. The pitches do vary in size a bit but the are all divided by hedges. It has swimming pools, bar, restuarant and you can cycle direct from the site, you get a key from reception to a rear gate giving direct access to the Bages Bay. Another nice site we have stayed on is Le Pre Lombard at Tarascon sur Ariege, number 2282 in ACSI book. This is close to the caves of Niaux and right on the edge of town. Loads of sites in ACSI book, the camargue is swamped with them.
