Roof leak.

Hi All, after a particularly wet winter and family concerns which have prevented us using our Autosleeper Topaz this year, we have brought her out of hibernation to find that she has had a rather bad leak from an unnoticed crack in the big vent over the kitchen area. This has resulted in some bad staining of the roof lining in the area. We had the bathroom vent changed last year after it blew off in a gale. Can anyone recommend a cleaner to remove the staining or is it a "replace" job?

It will need replacing to get a good match with surrounding roof panels. It may need drying out underneath the panel as well, it is surprising how far the wet can travel.

I once did a very acceptable job on a caravan roof by painting it with silk oil based paint with a roller.

You could try neat bleach, bearing in mind that since it will need replacing anyway there is nothing to lose.
