Today I bought a can of penetrating oil jacked up the rear of the van and sprayed all the rubber bushes. These were anti roll bar, Spring hangers, spacers on the springs, shock absorbers, anti roll bar drop links. This has eliminated all the noises so a positive result. Agaric Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 It's not a good idea to use penetrating oil on rubber bushes, tends to shorten the life expectancy. Plus penetrating oil tends to not work for long, use a silicon spray, penetrates and keeps on working and doesn't deteriorate rubber. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
