ColandNat
Hi. We have a Knaus Sun Ti 700MX 2016 and would like to remove the table - we find it a little big. After removing the screws around the base the leg is still very firmly fixed. Has anyone removed their table and if so how? I would appreciate all help. Thank you. Tracker
Have you looked underneath the van to see if it is bolted through the floor?
ColandNat
Hi Tracker. Because of the twin floor you can see via a hatch that the table has no fixings below deck. I wonder if the leg is bonded with some super strength glue and a big hammer is the way forward! Cheers.
Dave225
As it is a 2016 van may I suggest contact a dealer to ask. They will probably have all the information you need
BKen1
There was a similar question on the Knaus owners site .....not sure if it was resolved ..but having seen the table maybe you need to remove the table top from the telescopic section giving access to the inside of the tele section and maybe some sort of bolt or the like inside at the base to unscrew along with the perimeter screws .....worth a look Brian K
ColandNat
Hi Dave225. Yes, the dealer. I think I didn't spend enough money with them to expect any sort of customer service. They treated me like a second rate citizen with no regard to what is right or fair. Love the Knaus though! Cheers.
ColandNat
Evening BKen1 Thanks for that, I will have a look. How is Rojales, lovely as ever? We have a place on LaFinca, wished I was there now! ENJOY.

Be wary of flimsy (they call it light weight) floors and general build materials so don't hit it too hard, but by all means threaten it! In order to gain best prices the van may well need to be as near original as possible when you eventually sell it on so I would try and keep any mods as reversible. bounty hunter
Someone in Carthago Owners Club was having the same problem and apparently the table is also bonded/sealed/glued to floor and only needed a bit of elbow grease to remove it. Yours might be the same. I removed mine easily enough as it was only screwed to floor. John
