Hi,

 

Just a note for anyone who uses Windows Defender beta 2 it will expire on the 31st Dec, so you need to update ASAP and its free

Hi, Just an explanation of Windows Defender for those that haven't heard of it, hears a quote from the Microsoft site:-

 

" Windows Defender is a free program that helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software. It features Real-Time Protection, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it's detected and minimizes interruptions and helps you stay productive."

 

I haven't pasted a link as sometimes these can be a problem but if you type in windows defender into Google it will give you a link, and i would reccommend that you obtain a copy

At bottom left of my screen which shows programs running the Defender icon has a yellow ! on it, this is to indicate that there is a upgrade waiting to download.
