vanbluedog
Has anyone tried to cure the rust on the back of their fridge? Unlike domestic fridges, motorhome/caravan ones are really expensive to replace so I want to try and extend the life of mine. I was thinking of painting on a rust cure product on the affected components?
Charles
I suppose they go rusty in our damp winters. What about giving it a coat of WD40 in the winter. I think WD stands for water dispersant. By the time it rots through you'll be ready for a new one anyway.
Will86
Don't waste your money, the fridge will outlive both the van and you. What ever you paint on the damage has already started its process.
vanbluedog
I hope that you are right- I plan on living past 100 and the fridge is already 14 years old!
