colin
I have read a test on new Citreon Relay commercial van and it is criticised as being unaceptably noisy for a modern van 8-) As I'm still working 7 days a week I've not had chance to test drive one. They specificaly mentioned noise from rear which I think will not apply to motorhomes as they are not 'empty cans' but more worringly wind noise is seen as a problem! Has anyone had a chance to test drive and confirm or deny noise levels compared to say a movano or last model transit ( I'm used to driving these ) ? Keith T
Hi Colin Had a test drive in the Motorcaravan version on the Burstner a couple of weeks ago, and found it (2.3td engine) very quiet, very fleixible, eespecially when compared to the 2.8Jtd I have at the moment. How this relates to an ordinary 'white van' is difficult to relate, as there may well be inherent noise in an empty van, but as far as the engine was concenr, seemd excelent in all aspects. Stuart
Have they managed to stop the draft & wind noise round the top of the cab doors? Stuart
